Pete Doherty Released From Jail Early

Troubled rocker Pete Doherty, was released from a London prison early Tuesday morning, (May 6) after serving only 29 days of a 14-week sentence for "being in breach of his probation order." Doherty has suffered an ongoing battle with drugs, having previously been given a suspended sentence for drug possession and ordered to partake in a treatment program.His representative, Jon Bills, confirmed the news on April 8 that Doherty was to serve "a total of 14 weeks in jail for being in breach of his probation order." No reason for the early release of The Babyshambles frontman has been provided.Photo taken by Jasmine Worth.
